Mrs. Patricia Elizabeth Huey, age 50, of Rome Street, Carrollton, Ga., passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2008. She was born June 15, 1957, in Carroll County, Georgia, the daughter of John Hubert and Edith Lucille Walker of Carrollton. Mrs. Huey lived in Sweetwater, TN. for 15 years before returning to Carrollton 12 months ago. She was a member of New Lebanon Baptist in Newnan. Besides her parents, survivors include her parents; her husband, John Huey of Sweetwater, TN; a daughter, Elizabeth Brooke Walton; sisters, Elaine Walker and Jane Walker; brother, Rayford McKenzie; a special aunt, Lorene McKenzie; and a granddaughter, Maggie Elizabeth Walton, all of Carrollton. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 10, 2008, at 2 PM from Abilene Baptist Church with Mrs. Barbara Hemrick and Mr. Dennis McKenzie officiating. Mrs. Huey will be placed in state from 1:30 PM until the funeral hour. Music will be provided by Debbie Argo. Interment will follow in the Abilene Baptist Church Cemetery.
