Paulette Rene' Paquin, age 96, of The Oaks in Carrollton, formerly of Orangeburg, SC, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton. She was born October 7, 1918 in Paris, France to Mr De'sire' Armand and Blance Collin Delaporte. She was self-employed in retail sales. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Richard Guy Paquin. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law: Gary & Debbie Paquin of North Carolina, Jim & Dagmar Paquin of Orangeburg, SC and Denis & Brenda Paquin of Carrollton; seven grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. In keeping with the family's wishes, the body will be cremated and a memorial service will be conducted at3:30 PM on Sunday, April 26, 2015 from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. R. Glenn Rountree officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral on Sunday from 2:30 PM until the time of service.
