Rachel Ann Harness Weaver, age 70, of Buchanan, passed away on April 5, 2023, at her residence. She was born in Huntsville, Tennessee, on August 23, 1952, the daughter of June (Shorty) Harness and Cassie Harness. She worked for Douglas and Lomasson, and was a member at White Oaks Springs Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Weaver; a brother, Billy Harness, and two sisters, Velma Harness and Pam Folds.

Survivors include her parents, June (Shorty) Harness and Cassie Harness; sisters, Novella Spake (James) of Temple, Wilma Brawley (John Waters) of Buchanan, Brenda Sanders (Kirk) of Buchanan; brothers, Anthony Harness of Buchanan, Clark Harness (Linda) of Tucker, Stoney Harness (Tina) of Jefferson and Boyd Harness (Wanda) of Jefferson.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 7, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 2:30 pm at the funeral home.

Services will be conducted, Friday, April 7, 2023, at 2:30 pm from the Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Dr. Corky Addison officiating. James Spake, Kirk Sanders, John Waters, Shane Brawley, Camron Folds, Brent Oden and Phillip Spake will serve as Pallbearers.
