Rhonda Carol McCarty Brown, age 58, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on April 1, 2025. She was born in Douglasville, Georgia on September 15, 1966, daughter of Wanda Carol McCarty and the late Buddy Davis McCarty.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Anthony Mark Brown; children: Anthony Michael Brown (Kristin), Timothy Carlton Brown (Mary Kathleen); Christopher Chad Brown (Tamara); grandchildren: Ashleigh Mikala Brown, Asher Clay Brown, Bennett Michael Brown, Briggs Lee Brown, Bryn Anthony Brown, Benjamin Chad Brown, Vivian Patricia Brown; mother, Wanda Carol McCarty; sister Tammy McCarty Brooks (Ted), Nora McCarty, Janet McCarty; brothers: Dennis McCarty (Carlene), Jody McCarty (Jessica).

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother: Philip Charles McCarty.

The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Friday, April 4, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with Pastor Stanley Flowers officiating.

The funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 3:00 p.m.

Interment will follow at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
