Mr. Richard J. Brandt, age 70 of Carrollton, Ga., passed away Saturday, May 04, 2013. He was born July 12, 1942 in Royal Oak, Michigan to the late Mr. Richard J. Brandt and Mrs. Edna Brenowski Brandt. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy for six years and worked as a field engineer with Unisys Corporation for more than thirty years. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Pat and his brother, Gary. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Rogers Brandt; his children, Leann (Tim) Cole of Carrollton, Krysty (Dave) Webb of Bremen; granddaughters, Leslie Lanier, Kaitlyn Webb, and Mary Kathryn Cole; mother in law, Shirley Rogers; sister in law, Lisa (Chris) Rooks; and niece, Taylor Bailey; brother, Dennis Brandt and his wife of Michigan; sister, Bobby (Merlin) Doran of Michigan. A graveside service was held Monday, May 06, 2013 at 11:00 AM from Carroll Memory Gardens with Pastor Rob Vincent officiating.
