Mr. Richard Narvez Marks Sr., age 91, of Price Rd., Carrollton, passed away Friday, December 28, 2012 at his residence. He was born January 7, 1921 in Carroll County, Ga. to the late Ben Marks and Pauline Miller Marks. Mr. Marks was retired from Del Mar Cabinet Shop and a member of Temperance C M Church. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son Jerry Marks and a daughter Dottie Marks. Survivors include his wife Dorothy L. Marks; son, William R. Marks Sr., of Carrollton, Richard Narvez Marks Jr. and his wife Cindy of Douglasville and Jimmy Marks and his wife Debbie of Bowdon; daughter, Patty LuAllen and her husband Jimmy of Carrollton; twelve grandchildren; thirty three Great Grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 30, 2012 at 2:00PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Wendell Rush and Chaplain Sam Braswell officiating. Pallbearers will be Richie Marks, Chris Marks, Jeremy Marks, Doug Collins, Will Armour and Joey Flowers. Interment will follow in the Temperance C M Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00 until 7:00PM.
