Robert "Bobby" David Ezell, age 77 of Bremen, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2026. He was born April 25, 1949 in Hawthorne, California, son of the late Samuel McCoy Ezell, Ernestine Lee Cobb and John Wesley Cobb. Bobby was gifted with the ability to make you laugh with a quick wit and a straight face.

He loved his family deeply and always made sure they knew how proud he was of them. Left to cherish those memories, his wife, Jeanette Voncile Ezell; children Tara (Jami) Sailors of Waco and Stacey (Tim) Smith of Dallas, Georgia; sisters, Janice Reaves of Oxford, Alabama, Debbie (Garry) Ragsdale of Alexandria, Alabama and Cindy Ezell of Los Angeles, California; brothers, Chris (Jeri) Ezell of Bremen and Michael Ezell of Seattle, Washington; grandchildren, Megan (Micky) Summerville, Avery Smith, Abbie Sailors, Austin Smith and Braydon Smith; and one great-grandchild, Oliver Summerville.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 14, 2026 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Services will be Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Pastor Ricky Shirley officiating, Mr. Jamison Sailors speaking and Miss Abbie Sailors singing. Avery Smith, Austin Smith, Braydon Smith, Micky Summerville, Jim Cordell, James Cordell and Greg Foster will be serving as Pallbearers.

Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
