Robert Steven Reid, age 26, of Carrollton passed away on Monday, February 4, 2013. He was born on November 9, 1986 in Carrollton, Georgia, the son of Steven Lee Reid and Patricia Moss Reid. He was a full time student at the University of West Georgia and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Wilber Frank Brown. Survivors include his parents, Steven and Patricia Reid of Carrollton; paternal grandparents, Chester and Peggy Cole Reid of Carrollton; and maternal grandmother, Eleanor R. Brown of Carrollton. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday rom Pleasant View Baptist Church with Rev. Myles Brown officiating. Music will be rendered by Doug Jenkins. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 – 8 PM.
