Rodney was born in Austell, Georgia, on March 18, 1974. He dedicated more than 30 years of his life to working as a pipeline welder, a career in which he took great pride. Above all else, Rodney deeply loved his family and cherished every moment spent with them.

A man of strong faith, Rodney loved the Lord with all his heart. He was known for having a servant's heart, always willing to help anyone in need without hesitation. Through his kindness, compassion, and ministry work, Rodney made it his mission to lead others to Christ and share God's love with those around him.

In his free time, Rodney enjoyed hunting, fishing, and making lasting memories with his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Melissa Canant; his daughter and pride and joy, Alexa Canant; his beloved grandson and buddy, Banks Crawford; his precious mother, Barbara Canant; and his loving sisters, Angela and Danielle Canant.

Rodney was preceded in death by his father, David Canant, and his brother, Rusty Canant.
