Rosie Lou Collins, age 77 of Buchanan, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025 at her home. She was born April 30, 1948 in Buchanan, daughter of the late Willis and Myrtle Lepard. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Burl Collins; son, Norman Collins; sisters, Mary Ann Barber, Katherine Holcombe and Omie Williams; and brothers, James Lepard, Tom Lepard and Vernon Lepard.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Allen (Carla) Collins and Regina (Johnny) Nixon, all of Buchanan; sisters, Dale (Danny) Henderson and Sharon Bradley; brothers, Doyle Lepard, Bill Lepard, Jim (Carole) Lepard and Larry Lepard; grandchildren, Travis (Lexi) Shaw, Victoria (Ryan) Pendergrass and Cierra Collins; and great grandchildren, Dennen Shaw, Elissa Shaw, Salem Pendergrass and Audri Pendergrass.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Services will be Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Brother Ricky Caldwell officiating. Josh Lepard, Jason Williams, Dan Henderson, Travis Shaw, Kevin Lepard and Dewayne Duke will serve as Pallbearers.

Interment will follow at Tallapoosa East Church Cemetery.
