Mrs. Rosie Lee Dick, age 94, of Forest Breeze Path, Leesburg, FL., passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2008. She was born February 7, 1914 in Somerset, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Ada Meece Pittman and Henry Pittman. Mrs. Dick worked for Fosters Transforming Company in Cincinnati, Ohio for 30 years and was a member of the Apostalic Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Dick; a daughter, Ruby Jones and also 3 brothers. Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Bernice & Ray Collett of Leesburg, FL.; two sisters, Lola Klappus of Seattle and Goldie Hoskins of Haver, Montana; brother, Avery Pitman of Danville, ILL.; grandchildren, Jeffery Collett, Jennifer Collett, Connie Ballinger, Dennis Jones and Barry Jones; also ten great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 24, 2008 at 2 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Mike Mallory officiating. Pallbearers will be David Carlysle, Bob Starssel, Charles Goodlander, Steve Collett, Matt Collett and Daniel Collett. Interment will follow in Indian Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
