Roy Wooten, Jr., age 89 of Temple, Georgia passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at a local healthcare facility. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on September 8, 1936, son of the late Roy Wooten, Sr and Vera Elzora Wooten. In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Wooten and a sister, Betty Fulbright.

Survivors include his children: daughters, Debra Noel, Donna Prince (Joseph), Diana Rutledge (Kenneth), Darla Bearden, Dayna Wooten and his son, David Wooten (Renee) and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial services for Roy will be held at a later date.
