Ruby Lelia Harrison Russell, age 84, of Douglasville, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018.  She was born in Rutledge, Morgan County, Georgia, on January 22, 1934, the daughter of the late John Webb Harrison and Lelia Estella Harper Harrison Colston.  She was joined in matrimony to Raymond Leroy Russell on May 6, 1950 in Madison, Morgan County, Georgia.  Ruby worked for 42 years with  Mead Packing Company until she retired. She was Baptist by faith.In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by daughter: Sandra Ann Hollomon; grandsons: Ricky Lee Rogers and Asa Darrell Russell; brothers: Lawrence Harrison, James Lee Harrison, Thomas Leonard Harrison, Roy Veron Harrison, Marvin James Colston, Jr., John Webb Harrison, Jr..Ruby is survived by her children and their spouses, Barbara and Ricky Rogers of Douglasville, Glenda and Freddie Campbell of Douglasville, Jane and Robert Hollon of Douglasville, Sherry Milam of Carrollton; grandchildren: Sherril Lucas, Dawn Riddle, Glenn Campbell, Lonny Campbell, Terri Willis, Christy Milam, Robyn Rogers, Shane Yarbrough, Brandy Hollomon;  thirteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren;sister: Elizabeth and Lloyd Greene of Lexington, North Carolina; son-in-law: Danny Hollomon; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel in Douglasville on Saturday, November 24, 2018 beginning at 12:00 P.M. followed by the Funeral Service at 2:00 P.M. with Minister Mike Mallory officiating.
