Ruth Minton, age 83, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on June 10, 2025. She was born in Douglasville, Georgia on March 17, 1942, daughter of the late Raymond Daniel and the late Maggie Daniel. Prior to her retirement in 2020, she was the co-owner of PRC and Waynes Industrial MFG.

She is survived by her children: Wayne Groover and his wife Michelle, Alicia Groover; grandchildren: Phillip Groover and his wife Allie, Michael Groover, Anna Warren, Gary Atkins; great-grandchildren: Caleb Groover, Landyn Groover, Ryver Groover, Dean Allsop, Anslee Atkins, and Jaxton Warren.

The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

The funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Rob Wallace officiating. Michael Groover, Josh Morris, Gary Atkins, Aaron Whaley. Lonnie Daniel, and Bill Flowers will serve as pallbearers.

Interment will follow at West Georgia Memorial Park.
