Ruth Ann Gray Spry, age 65 of Douglasville, passed away May 7, 2013. She was born, March 7, 1948 in Chicago, Ill to the late Howard Maxwell Gray and Anna Byvick Gray. She worked many years for the Sheltering Arms Day Care Center. Survivors are her husband of 48 years, Nolan Spry of Douglasville; sons and daughters-in-law: Edward & Jessie Spry, Gregory and Star Spry, all of Villa Rica; sister: Dorothy Phillips of Ill; grandson: Trever Spry and granddaughter, Jamie Spry. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Hightower's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joel Frazier, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Melrose Memorial Park with Stanley Petrosky, David Carver, Brian Carver, Joe Petrosky, Robert Trepanier, Kenneth Phillips, David W. Goodner, Jr., Nicholas Sarch and Austin Petrosky, serving as Pallbearers. The family will receive friends, Friday, May 10, 2013 from 5-9 PM at the funeral home.
