It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sue Davidson Rice, who left us for her Heavenly Home on July 12, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on March 7, 1944, in Eastman, Georgia, Sue was the proud daughter of the late George Elbert Davidson and Emma Susie 'Peacock' Davidson.

Sue dedicated over 20 years of her life to serving as an Administrative Assistant for the Cobb County District Attorney's office, where her kindness and efficiency touched many lives. She was the beloved daughter of the late George Elbert Davidson and Emma Susie 'Peacock' Davidson, and her memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Teddy O'Neil Rice, and her brother, Elbert S. Davidson.

She is lovingly remembered by her sisters, Mary Davidson White (J.C.) and Wylene Davidson; her brother, Johnny Ray Davidson (Donna); stepdaughter, Angie Sigmon (Scott); as well as her step-grandchildren, Amy Pollard and Georgia Crowe, and her four step-great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will carry her spirit in their hearts.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at West Georgia Worship Center, starting at 10:00 AM until the service begins at 11:00 AM with Pastor Ricky Shirley officiating.

Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
