Susan Leaptrot Busbee, age 77, passed away on November 12, 2024, at a local healthcare facility. She was born on February 1, 1947, in Macon where she spent her life, the daughter of the late Hubert Leaptrot and Audrey Strong Leaptrot. She was a retired social worker and Baptist by faith.

Besides her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Busbee.

Survivors include her children, Matt Crawford (Kathleen) of Bremen and Christie Crawford of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; a brother, Mark Leaptrot of St. Simons Island; two grandchildren, Thomas William Crawford (Rebecca) of Temple, and Katelynn Elizabeth Crawford of Bremen; and one great-grandchild, William Henry Crawford.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 am, on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Bethel Baptist Church in Lizella, Georgia with Bro. David Israel officiating.
