Susan Pike
Tolleson
Nov 13, 1951 — Apr 14, 2026
Susan Pike Tolleson, age 74, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on April 14, 2026. A lifelong resident of Carroll County, Susan was born on November 13, 1951, to the late George L. "Jay" Pike Jr. and Hazel Lumsden Pike.
Susan was a graduate of Mt. Zion High School and spent many years working as a customer service representative. Through her work, she was known for her straightforward nature and her ability to connect with people in an honest and genuine way.
She shared a love of travel with her husband, Earl, and the two made many memories together as they explored different places over the years. At home, Susan found great comfort in the companionship of her pets, whom she loved dearly.
Susan will be remembered as a strong and independent woman who spoke her mind and lived life on her own terms. Those who knew her appreciated her honesty, her resilience, and the unmistakable way she let you know exactly what she was thinking.
She is survived by her brother, James "Gus" Pike (Rosalind) of Brooklet, Georgia, along with numerous cousins who will cherish her memory.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Tolleson, and her nephews, Jeffrey Pike and Zachery Pike.
Friends and family are invited to gather for a memorial service on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel, with Rev. Jimmy Bryan officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Carroll County Humane Society in Susan's memory.
