Mr. Thomas Barron Jordan, age 64, of Whooping Creek Church Rd., Carrollton, Ga., passed away January 19, 2012. He was born September 13, 1947 in Rome, Ga., the son of Lottie Sue Jordan, Auburn, Al. and the late Robert Lee Jordan. Mr. Jordan was the owner/operator of West Georgia Siding. He served his country in the US Army during Vietnam. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Jordan; brothers, Bob Jordan and Larry Jordan. Survivors include his daughters, Tara Jordan of Carrollton, Brittany Lynn Jordan of Whitesburg, Sarah Jordan of Nashville, TN; half son, Thad Stacey of Whitesburg; sister, Jane Huntley of Auburn, AL.; 3 grandchildren, Ashley Woodard, Cane Veitor and Jaydan Thompson; also a number of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 10:30 AM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Bryan officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 9:30 AM until the service hour. In accordance with the family's wishes the body was cremated.
