Thomas James McCard, age 56, of Mableton, Georgia, passed away on July 31, 2026. He was born in Austell, Georgia on November 10, 1969, son of Eleanor Brewer Couch and the late Henry Thomas McCard.

He is survived by his wife: Corrin Sanders McCard; children: Paige McCard, Destiny McCard, Arianna McCard, Ansley McCard, Brooke McCard, Gabriel Sanders, Maleah Hood; grandchildren: Dakota, Braylie, Grayson, Carson, Willow, Nevada, Harper, Asher, Matthew, Cheyyene, Ceraya, Micah, Kylie, Isaiah; mother: Eleanor Couch; sister: Rebecca Haney; brother: Scott McCard.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father: Henry Thomas McCard; Son: Thomas James McCard, Jr; stepfather: Jesse "Fuzz" Couch.

The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

The funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Zachary Marchman officiating. Deonte, Mi-mi, Dalton, Kyden, Chris, Gabriel, Dakota and Jujuan will serve as pallbearers.

Interment will follow at West Georgia Memorial Park.
