Tina Leigh Newborn Kelly, age 53 of Douglasville, passed away, Thursday, December 05, 2013. She was born April 24, 1960 in Atlanta, to Gene and Sandra Newborn. She worked during her career as a GCIC Specialist for the Douglasville Police Department and was Methodist by faith. Survivors are her parents, spouse: Wayne Kelly of Douglasville; children: Nycole Newborn-Jarrett of Douglasville, Joshua Harry Newborn of Douglasville; Brittany Kelley of Villa Rica; Chad and Alicia Kelley of Villa Rica; Tiffany Thompson of Douglasville, Amy and Scott Eskew of Austell; sister: Tysha Newborn-Gentry of Douglasville; grandchildren: Owen Jarrett, Molly Newborn, Jadyn Kelley, Joey Kelley, Christopher Franklin, J. J. Franklin, Knoa Thompson, Turner Grace Thompson, Max Eskew, Abe Eskew, and Emma Clair Eskew. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 4:00 PM from Hightower's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Adam Roberts officiating. The family will receive friends, Friday, December 6, 2013 from 5-8PM at the funeral home. In accordance with her wishes, her body will be cremated following the service.
