Obituary

With heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of Trevor Aden Jones. Born on December 31, 2001, Trevor was the beloved son of Cody Jones and Kimberly Jones.

A proud graduate of Carrollton High School's Class of 2020, Trevor was known for his adventurous spirit and kind heart. He was passionate about skateboarding and was rarely seen without his board by his side. Trevor was an Eagle Scout and a dedicated member of the Carrollton High School JROTC program. After graduation, he began working at Tyson Foods, where his dedication and leadership earned him the role of backup shift leader. His coworkers remember him as someone who could light up any room – always smiling, always bringing joy. To so many, Trevor wasn't just a friend—he was their "Buddy."

Family was everything to Trevor. He loved them all fiercely but shared an especially close bond with his sister and cousins, being the oldest grandchild. His warm hugs, bright smile, and genuine presence were a true treasure, and his loved ones will carry his memory in their hearts forever.

Trevor is survived by his loving parents, Cody and Kimberly Jones; his maternal grandparents, Ken and Carol Fries; paternal grandmother, Chiba Terrell; sister, Taylor Jones; half-sister, Kat Engelbrecht, and her partner, Zack; aunts and uncles, Christopher and Katie Fries, Katie and Cory Turner, and Colleen Fries; his cherished cousins, Elizabeth Turner, William Turner, and Millie Nora Fries; nephew, Levi Engelbrecht; and niece, Dahlia Engelbrecht.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Martin & Hightower Funeral Home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at noon at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, with Father Joe Wagner officiating. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in the church cemetery.

While we mourn Trevor's passing, we also remember the incredible son, grandson, brother, and friend that he was. Join us in celebrating his life and the wonderful memories he leaves behind.
