Obituary

Our family is heartbroken to share the unexpected passing of Trinity Leah Hulsey Butterworth of Austell, Georgia, on November 3, 2025, at the age of 51, due to a sudden illness.

Born on January 18, 1974, in Austell, Trinity was a graduate of Mableton Christian Academy and devoted her life to caring for children as a loving and trusted childcare provider. She had a beautiful singing voice, a deep love for music, and a heart that overflowed with kindness and faith.

Trinity loved spending time with her family and friends. She had a special passion for good food, penguins, and Christmas. She was known for her warm hugs, radiant smile, and gentle spirit that reflected the love of Christ in everything she did.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richie Butterworth, in 2007, and her father, Robert Hulsey, in 2018. She is survived by her son Nathaniel Butterworth, his wife Taylor, and their daughters Millie and Josie; her mother Deborah Hulsey Bryant and husband Lamar; her sister Chastity McKnight and husband Kelly; and many extended family members and dear friends who loved her deeply.

Services to celebrate Trinity's life will be held at Hightower's Memorial Chapel in Douglasville, Georgia. On November 7th @ 3:00pm Est.

Visitation with family will be from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Though her passing was unexpected, we take comfort in knowing she is now at peace, reunited with her beloved Richie and her father Robert, and singing with the angels in the presence of her Savior. Her light, laughter, and faith will continue to shine in all who were blessed to know her.

Please keep our family in your prayers during this difficult time.
