Valerie Anne Rogers, 52 of Heflin, Alabama passed away October 11, 2013. She was born on August 18, 1961 in Atlanta, Georgia the daughter of Bernice Ruth Boswell Chapman and the late Billy Wayne Chapman. Survivors include sons, Matthew Rogers of Brunswick, Nicholas & Debra Rogers of Brunswick; mother, Bernice Ruth Chapman of Bremen; sister, Wanda & Eddie Young of Bremen; brother, Phillip & Shirley Chapman of Snellville and one grandchild. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 18 between 3 & 4 pm. Funeral Services will follow at 4 pm from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Reverend Phillip Chapman officiating. Eddie Young, Albert Rogers, Ryan Young, Zack Young, Matt Rogers and Nick Rogers will serve as pallbearers. Anthony Chapman and Austin Chapman will serve as honorary pallbearers. Interment will follow in Bremen City Cemetery.
