It is with deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Velda Eidson Lepard, who departed this life on July 11, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on March 18, 1955 in Bremen, the daughter of the late Adrian Eidson and Florence 'House' Edison.

Velda is preceded in the death by her husband, Vernon Lepard; and a brother, Larry Eison. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Lepard Wright (Jamele Sr.); a grandson, Gavin Payne; and a sister, Shelia Rose.

Throughout her 70 years, Velda touched the lives of many with her kindness. She was a steady presence to those she loved—a listener, a caretaker, and a source of calm in uncertain times. Whether offering a warm hug, sage advice, or a thoughtful gesture, Velda had a way of making people feel truly seen and valued.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 14, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

A graveside service to honor Velda's life will be held Tuesday, July 15th at 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Dr. Corky Addison officiating.

Velda's legacy of love, laughter, and beauty will live on in all who knew her and loved her.
