Virginia Marion Riley of Temple, passed away Monday, May 19, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Bryantsville, Kentucky, April 1, 1922, daughter of the late Jesse Doolin and Susan Strong Doolin. Mrs. Riley was a retired employee of Macy's where she was a seamstress in Ladies Alterations. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Darold Eugene Riley and her brothers. Survivors include her children, Pat S. Riley, Temple, Sandra Riley of Bremen, Darold Kelly Riley of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; a granddaughter, Devin Riley of Bremen; sisters, Grace Graham, Lexington, Kentucky and Betty Noe of Nicholasville, Kentucky. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, May 23 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Services will be Saturday, May 24 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Reverend Buddy Gentry officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
