Walter Louis France, age 92, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025. He was born on January 28, 1933 in Staples, Minnesota son of the late Raymond Edward France and the late Annie Petroske France. Walter was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as an engineer for AT&T for 33 years and was a member of Lithia Springs Baptist Church where he worked in the recreation hall.

Walter is survived by his children, Michael France (Sheri), Ray France (Rosanne); grandchildren, Emily Jane France, Madelyn France, Colin France, Samer Kaddah.

In addition to his parents, Walter was also preceded in death by his wife, Edwena Wood France; sisters, Norma Marie Anderson and Mildred Louise France.
