Wanda Lay Parker, age 90, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away on July 17, 2012 at the Douglasville Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on August 23, 1921. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Parker, several sisters and brothers. She is survived by her dauther, Janet Lovett and husband, Mose of Lithia Springs, Georgia; son, Eugene Parker and wife, Peggy of Memphis, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Felicia Evett and husband, Wes of Douglasville and Bryan Parker and wife, Karen of LaPorte, Texas; three great-grandchildren, Lillian Evett of Douglasville, Georgia, Aaron Parker and Addisyn Parker, both of Laporte , Texas. Funeral services will be held in LaFollette, Tennessee at Walter's Funeral Home, 509 E. Central Avenue. 423-562-2424.
