William G. "Jerry" Lane, age 66 of Carrollton, passed away Monday, May 25, 2015. He was born February 10, 1949 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Barbara Gonzales Williams Lane and the late Donald Clark Lane, Sr. He worked as an Electronic Tech for Sony for more than 35 years. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a brother, Marion Lane, and a sister, Constance Joan Dever. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Thompson Lane of Carrollton; son and daughter-in-law, Daniel Charles and Robin Lane of Canton, GA; son, Bradley Scott Lane of Dalton, GA; brother, Donald Clark Lane, Jr. of Danville, IN; four grandchildren, Emily Renee Lane of Canton, GA, Caitlin Quinn Lane of Dallas, GA; Erin Elizabeth Lane of Canton, GA; and Ethan Scott Lane of Dallas, Ga. The family will attend a private visitation and no service will be scheduled at this time. In keeping with the family's wishes, the body will be cremated.
