William Scott Taylor, age 56, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026. Scott was born on November 13, 1969, in Newnan, Georgia, to the late William "Bud" Taylor and Barbara Richards Taylor.

Mr. Taylor was a dedicated lineman and took great pride in his work. He was also an avid outdoorsman, cherishing moments spent fishing, as well as deer and duck hunting, where he fostered a deep appreciation for nature and the bonds of family and friendship.

He is survived by his son Noah and Alysa Taylor, and his grandson, Forrest Taylor.

In addition to his parents Scott was also preceded in death by his brother, Lee Taylor.

A graveside service honoring Scott will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the St. Paul Methodist Church Cemetery in Whitesburg with Bro. Malcolm Moore officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend the service to pay their respects and celebrate Mr. Taylor's life.

Scott will be remembered for his unwavering spirit, love for his family, and dedication to his craft. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
