William, a cherished father, brother, and friend, dedicated his life to his family and career. He is also survived by his brothers, Stephen (Tabitha) Foster, Robin (Nicole) Foster, Dylan (Sarah) Foster, and sister Tracy (Keith) Belcher. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Joseph Hall, Bryce Hall, Julia Hall, Dakoda Roland, and Amelia Queen.

William was preceded in death by his father, William Fredrick Sewell Jr.; mother, Willadean Dinkie Solie; biological father, Chester L. Foster; grandmother, "Moma Bill" Lanier Holloway; grandfather, Edward Holloway; and brother, Shea Sullivan.

A devoted member of Love's Crossing Church in Trafford, Alabama, William found joy and strength through his faith which remained a source of comfort and guidance even after his job took him out of state. He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, especially fishing, which provided him solace and a connection to nature.
