Wilma Jean Horton, age 90 of Bremen, passed away at her home on Sunday, March 23, 2025. She was born in Carrollton on August 2, 1934, daughter of the late Gardner and Cora Mae Thompson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Florine Plant and husband, James Frank Horton.

Survivors include her children: Terry (Lanelle) Horton, Jerry (Carol) Horton, Vickie (Herb) Williamson and Andy (Laura) Horton; grandchildren Heather (Tyler) Oglesby, Joy (Jason) People, Anna Horton, Caleb (Casey) Horton, Amanda (Mike) Yother, Joshua Williamson, Ashleigh (Matthew) Bridges, Ben (Andrea) Horton and Allison (Avery) Kelly; thirteen great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 1 pm until service time at the First Baptist Church of Bremen.

Services will be March 26, 2025 at 2 pm at the First Baptist Church of Bremen with Rev. Jerry Horton, Rev. Andy Horton and Dr. Hunter Roe officiating. Ben Horton, Caleb Horton, Joshua Williamson, Matt Bridges, Mike Yother, Jason People, Tyler Oglesby, Avery Kelly, and Mark Raney will serve as pallbearers.

Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in honor of Mrs. Wilma Horton to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
