Mr. Wilma "Joel" Taylor, age 65, of Star Point Road, Franklin, GA, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2007. He was born October 6, 1941 in Chambers County, Alabama to the late Jasper James Taylor and Mary Armindy Britton Taylor. He was a member of Glenloch Baptist Church. Survivors include four children, Wanda Lynn Taylor of Franklin, GA, Henry Anthony Taylor of Randolph County, AL, Flora Armindy Blanks of Roopville, GA and Daniel Joel Taylor of Carrollton, GA; a brother, Hugh Taylor of Franklin, GA; four sisters, Janelle Blanks of Carrollton, Florence Thornton, and twin sisters, Mary Edwards and Martha Pollard, all of Roopville, GA; an aunt, Lila Thornton of LaFayette, AL; the children's mother, Patricia Ann Taylor of Carrollton; 7 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at 4 PM from Glenloch Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Neil Awbrey officiating. Pallbearers will be Steve Richardson, David Thornton, Michael Blanks, Gary Blanks, Roger Knight and Roger Sisco.
